The movement was founded by encouraging citizens to support as many local businesses as possible and rely on them for essentials. Its goal is to create a nationwide union or citizens' organization that will work for systemic changes, such as the elimination of federal income taxes, affordable basic goods, universal healthcare, and term limits for Congress. This movement is not aligned with any political party, but supports diversity, equity, and inclusion. More boycotts are being planned in the near future, which will target specific corporations, such as Amazon, Nestlé, and Walmart. This movement has raised over $80,000 in funds to support its activities.
